5 Tips for Working While you Travel

The month of September absolutely flew by, which may have had something to do with the fact that I was away for three of the four weeks. Two weeks in Europe for our honeymoon (and also worth noting — my first two week vacation ever), and then a week out west for (mostly) work. Told you it was busy. And though I wish I could say that I have my business set up in a way that lets me completely disconnect while travelling, that just isn't the case, so I found myself with a number of tasks and to-dos throughout those three weeks that just couldn't be ignored, so scheduling in some work sessions was essential.

01 // You know how they say a picture is worth a thousand words? This image pretty much sums up my ideal summer style, complete with a few essentials I currently have my eyes out for. An ivory hat for hiding from the sun in style (and pairing with a little dress off the beach), and high-waisted, slightly retro swim suit bottoms. The Land of Pink Sands

On our final day in The Bahamas, we opted to hop on a ferry and visit one of the other islands, Harbour Island, which promised miles of pink sand beaches and charming tropical flair in the tiny island town. We packed a picnic (complete with a bottle of wine for the ferry ride back, of course) and rented bikes to cruise around the tiny island, and it was easily one of the highlights from the trip.
