Behind the DESIGN
We wanted to capture a relaxed elegance, intentionally low-maintenance but also stylish and luxe. This tension and contrast between a sense of ease and simplicity juxtaposed with a higher-end aesthetic will help the brand stand out and carve out its own space in the industry, which tends to be dominated by bright, poppy colour palettes and bold, sans-serif type choices.
The brand features elegant and playful customized type, with condensed characters that feel both bold and refined, while still maintaining the approachability that is important to the brand.
This interpretation is also carried through in the varying weights of the characters, with the ‘C’ sitting wider and its relaxed curve acting to balance out the vertical lines and heights of the other characters.
DEEPER MEANING
We chose to do bold differently, leaning into an airy, serene colour palette highlighted with hints of zesty citrus tones, calling to mind laidback beach vacations and a breathe of fresh air. It’s about evoking a feel and a lifestyle — full of ease and intention, appealing to those with aesthetic sensibilities and dreams of sun-soaked beaches and textural, luxe tones.
Type choices play an important role and feature prominently, and we focused on finding options that feel elegant with a playful touch.
